THE FASCINATING JOURNEY OF SPEED

What does it take to make someone fast?

Dogs have figured out how to run fast - relative to their potential - well before the field of dog physiotherapy and fitness emerged. When intent exists, a living organism can find a way to accomplish the task at hand and do so exceptionally well. Some dogs naturally seem to find the proper running technique, while others struggle through poor conditioning/training, poor coordination, or being raised or trained incorrectly at a young age. Speed is an invaluable asset in most sports and comes in many forms, including pure acceleration, maximum velocity, deceleration, and multidirectional speed. Regardless of sport - they all matter. It’s not easy to get faster, and honestly, that’s one thing that makes it great.

Brilliant and Insightful!!! I want more!!!!

I have wanted to improve my dog's speed, but as there were no online courses, I was left overwhelmed by what Google suggested. When I saw that Iwona had a course on Speed training, I knew I wanted to join! A well-presented course covering the science, biomechanics, and technical aspects of speed training. The content is highly recommendable for anyone interested in improving speed and who wants the scientific details of how to do it. The YouTube videos also provide some visual training examples, which is very helpful. Iwona debunked training myths that I had about improving speed. All this time, my training has been counterproductive and I had no idea. I'm exciting to start the foundations of speed training with my dogs and report back on the progress. Thank you for sharing your knowledge Iwona!!!

OMG!!! The amount of information! it's beyond fantastic! Never seen that much thought into what speed actually is. Absolutely LOVE IT! but now is going to take me sometime to process it .

Incredibly in-depth, comprehensive and interesting course sold way too cheaply ;) I feel like a sponge desperately trying to soak up all the information :D Thank you so much!

I completed the course and was delighted! The course helped me refresh my old knowledge and gave me a lot of new and interesting information. The topic on the mental aspects of speed turned out to be especially valuable - it added depth to the understanding of the process. The information presented is simply fascinating! Now I clearly understand how to develop my dog’s speed, and this will certainly improve our work in sports🙂. Thank you very much for the quality and informative course.

I come from a different dog sport, but I felt I could benefit very much from this course. It covers so many topics that it will take time to absorb let alone work with all the tools provided by Ms Golab.

FANTASTIC information! I’m only halfway through, but loving it so much.

It makes sense now

I have build up speed from the ground up with my first dog, but never fully understood some of the phases we went trough - why one thing didn't work and something else did. To get an insight to WHY it has taken time and WHY we suddenly moved has been so exciting! A theoretical understanding of what lies behind fundamental work with your dog, motivation factors that encourage better teamwork and how to plan it... and the physical importance behind it is just GOLD. Thank you Iwona.

Great information!!!
